Welcome to this the second Festival Newsletter, issued a little earlier than originally intended, but with much to report we thought better to issue now rather than delay so you are all aware of what is happening. Please make certain ALL is reported to your Lodge brethren.
You will have or soon will be contacted by the Liaison Representative appointed to assist you and your Lodge throughout the Festival period. Details of names and contact information are at the end of the newsletter.
You should contact them with any queries/requests, and details of news items and events that your own Lodge or local Lodges have or are planning, they/we are here to give you EVERY assistance, to reach our joint aim namely to

Brethren, you cannot have spent any time in the Province of Devonshire over the last few months and not know that there is a growing undercurrent of excitement across Devonshire Mark Province.
R.W. Bro. Peter Hawken, MBE. GMRAC, the Provincial Grand Master (pictured left) is urging us to consider the 2016 Festival and the way in which Mark Masons in the Province can make “FUN-
With that one instruction Brethren, you are encouraged to organise social events, parties, (wild?) and wonderful events with the aims to obey the instruction......

for the 2016 Festival.”

W.Bro Ken Foster is organising a fantastic February event to celebrate

Peter’s Progress!!!! From South to North with the PGM
Taking his cue from the intrepid explorers, Scott, Amundsen, and the latter day Ranulph Fiennes, our Provincial Grand Master intends to don his walking boots and trek North from Base Camp Plymouth in search of Mark Masons and the Bristol Channel! He is looking for sponsors to help boost the coffers!
Over the last One hundred and Fifty Years, staging posts have been erected by diligent Masons in strategic locations throughout the Province to provide sustenance and support. For our PGM it may mean a plaster or two and a medicinal Guinness!
The PGM will warmly welcome walkers to join him on legs of the walk (pun intended), or the whole journey.
If walking is too much perhaps we can run a sweep-
